Jabed and Shreya’s wedding was a little different for me, being the brother of the bride meant I wasn’t fully involved, and they had other photographers there to do the main job. Still, it felt too personal not to pick up my own camera and tell the story in my way. Besides, keeping busy with photos seemed like a decent way to avoid dreading the speech.

The wedding was originally planned for Italy but ended up in Devon, which gave it its own charm. For me, it wasn’t about covering every moment, but about catching the bits in-between — the atmosphere, the sideways glances, and those details you only really notice when you’re part of the family.
